In 'Come & Adore' you will recognise snippets of O Come All Ye Faithful, The First Nowell and Ding Dong Merrily on High all bundled into one tender, funky, exuberant celebration.

The middle section of this track makes reference to calypso style rhythms that originated in Trinidad among the West African slaves. The calypso played an important role in political expression giving voice to the disenfranchised. It became a vehicle through which the masses challenged the behaviours of those in power. In this sense 'Come & Adore' is in a similar vein to 'A Christmas Tango' with it's references to the freedoms, rights and justice that Christ stood for.

These links serve as a reminder that all of us, regardless of our creed, colour, race, religion, education, background or sexual orientation, all of us are invited to come and worship in Christ's Kingdom.
